About us.
Placke is a family-run manufacturer of Press brakes from Melle. Founded in 1984 by Günther Placke, we have been producing our own series since 1997 – now in our second generation, and under the management of Carsten Placke since 2014.
What sets us apart: We manufacture completely in-house, from Hydraulic cylinder to Control cabinet. Cutting, Machining, Welding, painting, Final assembly – everything under one roof in Melle. As a manufacturer with complete production for Press brakes in Germany, we deliberately avoid mass production, focusing instead on machines that match the specific customer request.
Pressing force 6t to 600t, machine length up to 285mm to 6000mm – equipped to order, not from a catalogue. Naturally ISO 9001 certified.
For Pressing force presses ranging from 600 tonnes to 6,000 tonnes or bending lengths of 6 metres to 20 metres, our sister company Placke Heavy Duty GmbH has been available since 2026 – catering to the XXL press segment.
